ok, i have a ton of Autechre tracks waiting to be downloaded on my kazaa list. i have 'Overand' downloaded, and i must say i love the effects and there is just something about it that makes me want to ask this: does anybody know what hardware and/or software that Autechre uses? I listened to it and i was thinking to myself "This is something i have been trying to do," so if anybody can help me i would be greatly obliged :) |

okie doke well thanks anyway heh. they prolly use absynth or something like that since when messing with it i made some similar effects. oh well, looks like we'll never really know....the truth is out there! now me and the penguins must go and plot our world domination.... |

I know that they have used MAX/MSP in the past. I don't know if they still use it. |

they're all pretty secretive about that sort of thing. you could look at the interview with sound on sound magazine. it's on the SOS website...i dunno the address. that should be a bit gear orientated. i'll have to reread that myself. |
