How does one actually enjoy such a song? Is there some sort of drug I dont know about that makes listening to Autechre feel like a hand job? I'm sorry but this song is not listenable. I dont give a fuck how technical it is or how many fucking different rhythems they stack up, it sucks. Not enjoyable, sounds like shit. That is why Aphex Twin is far superior. He has melodys, chords, AND complex beats. And he makes it sound so fucking beautiful you'd think you died and went to heaven. (my $0.02) |

I liked Grantz Graf. I dont think its a matter of whether or not its good. I think its more a matter of some people being more closed minded than others. |

Gantz Graf isnt good, because it sounds like a cheap Drumloop, filtrerd thru a few Reaktor presets......Confield was a masterpiece, Gantz Graf is not ! |

It's the worst Autechre I've ever heard... but not bad. I mean, this is AUTECHRE... for anyone else, it would probably be their best work. But I've given this album ample opportunity to grow on me, to ''understand'' it, but it isn't happening. It's merely OK. I'm not interested in the DVD. |

Wow! I can't believe this! When I first learnt of Autechre basically everyone said they were really great, so because of this I bought Amber and LP5. At first I didn't like them, maybe one or two tracks. After a few months I still didn't really like them, but I kinda liked some more tracks. And slowly it kept working on me. About 5 months ago I got really into the albums and I'm at a point where I would say I love them. When I first heard Gantz Graf I absolutely loved it. I must say I am surprised at all the flack it is getting. But atleast it shows pretty much everyone here likes what they like, not going 'Ah new Autechre, well I love them so I gotta like this even if I really dont'. |

No, not really... I don't like videos! They kind of ruin it for me... I always picture the video in my head, and INEVITABLY, it hurts the song in my head... just a personal quirk. It's better for me NOT to see it, not matter how good it is. Weird, but... true. |

I wish I had NEVER seen Windowlicker... it's great, a fantastic clip, but now I have trouble shaking the image of those girls and the limo... I had my OWN image in my head before the video, and now it's more annoying that I get those unwanted visuals when I hear it... I don't like this little ''defect'' of mine... :-/ |

im more in it for the visual stuff. The visual is as important as the audio for gantz graf. Without the vid, gantz graf isnt that great, just seems a bit random, and same with the video. Put them together, and it really hits the spot. |

personally i didn't believe it really was autechre that made gantz graf until it was confirmed. no i don't like it that much, i don't get the point of the song. maybe it helps seeing the video with it. but the other two songs on the gantz graf ep are superb. especially cap.iv but also dial. i don't think i'll have wasted money when my copy arrives. |

I enjoyed Confield. I found it new/interesting/refreshing from all the other stuff i'd been listening too lately. I'm not saying Gantz Graf is NOT music. It IS music, just not good music. It gives me no emotion other than the fact that It instills hate for the song in me. I'm not closed minded, I dont expect for Autechre to make Afx music. But I would like AE to make something that instills wonder and emotion in me. |

I just watched the video, and while it's good, the music is lacking. This just isn't prime Autechre. They can, and WILL, do better. Unlike previous reports, I did NOT begin to ''understand'' the song when I ''saw'' the song. I already understood it... a 2nd rate composition by Booth and Brown. |
