This is not a question of wich album is better.....ok, fuck it u can answer that too (I think Drukqs is the better one) but wich album SOLD MORE????
How much did both these releases sell?
My guess is Drukqs.... 123000 copies
and Geogaddi 115000 copies ;)
Have a guess.

I don't know where to start, but I'd listen to Drukqs anyday before Geogaddi.

No chance, both the albums you said have been out for over 5/6 years. It's nearer 50, 000 and that's being very generous.

But I heard that Jegas first album easily sold 75000 copies, but that was years ago, its harder to sell now adays with mp3s and stuff like that.

100,000 copies of geogaddi? AAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA, yeah I hear BoC are cruising the Scottish highlands in Bentleys and sipping L'eau de quille for $5000 a bottle while swedish virgins trim their cuticles.

Easily Geogaddi for me... it's one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard... it's fantastic... You know, I love Drukqs, but it just doesn't compare with Geogaddi imo... Geogaddi flows so nicely, and I can sit down and listen to the whole album over and over, whereas Drukqs I can sit and listen, but usually to one specific tracks at a time, not the whole thing... Geogaddi is my friend!!! :)

drukqs easily. both suffer from having too many tracks, and i think geogaddi sold more, (something like 80 to 90,000), but drukqs is just better.

well i remember reading an article about the year in music and how electronic music wasn't selling particularly well. I think it mentioned geogaddi being the most anticipated and largest selling release of the year (in electronic music), and i'm pretty sure the numbers were close to the ones i've listed. if not, my mistake.

I have no idea which one sold more. Maybe Drukqs because Aphex Twin is more known then Boards of Canada?

I think Geogaddi probably sold more because BoC appeal to the hippy/stoner ethos as well as the electronic music listener. People who own Bob Marley and the Dead ... if they have an electronic album ... it's BoC.
Drukqs is clearly more interesting and overall a better album -- but that's only because I consider BoC a big bore.

I prefer drukqs as arecord, geogaddi is good but i'm not very impressed about it,maybe i have to listen to it more...
as far as sales for drukqs you have to consider that it' s a double album so even if it sold 50000 is like as if had sold 100000.geogaddi i don't know but i think that both boc&rdj have no problem of money

someone posted a Plaid interview awhile ago. I would consider them quite big in the elecronic music scene as they toured with Bjork etc... in the interview they say its hilarious how everyone thinks they're rich. They dont own their homes and they said they cant afford cars. I also read an interview with boc in which they said its funny how many people think theyre well off.

Voices Music Entertainment, wich is the nordic WARP distributor told my radiostation that Music Has the right sold over 100.000, and there has been major hypes 'round Geogaddi and Drukqs. There has been many topics like this where some people have dropped some numbers. I guess Phobia (where has he been lately?) and Joyrex has some info?

i have listened to drukqs a hell of alot more than geogaddi, but MHTRTC is one of my fave albums, and i listen to it almost constantly, i think this album stopped geogaddi being an amazing follow up, and justa good one instead.
and i have no doubt aphex sold more, he has more range of audience than BoC right now. and the hype drukqs was sold to the public compared to geogaddi is almost unbelieveble really
