i mailed het lek if they'll broadcast plaid's performance.
unfortunately, they weren't allowed to tape the show... so
bummer

what's up with bands forbidding radio and tv to tape live
performances anyway? first tool, now plaid...

well thats a bitch innit, dont know what thats all about,
they sounded really good too, surely they can't mind people
listening to their gigs.
maybe its a Warp thing.

"scuse me Plaid, can we tape your show?
NO FUCKOFF!!!!!!"

cheers anyway Netlon, thanx for looking out for it.

haha i don't know them either!! :) everybody seems to know
them, though. i only know they mix acoustic guitars with
electronic rhythms. i once heard a snippet of one of their
songs, sounded ok, more electronic than guitars

their album "shrink" is really special.

the "old' notwist sounded to me a little like dinosaur jr.
Maybe a little heavier (and also not as good).

But they completely changed their musical style with this
album! There are still guitars, but also lots of
jazz-influences, and electronica. Listen to the song
"chemicals"... that one is particularly amazing.

Haven't heard their last one yet...
