quote from technoextreme.com

"but it wasn't until late 1997 that the world realized his
(RDJ) talent" ..

what a load of crap!

Should be: "but it wasn't until late 1997 that the world
realized RDJ's music was another genre bandwagon to jump on
for a bit"

but "the world" knew about his talent years before that...
Maybe not the world at technoextreme.com (what a lame name
anyhow)

Not really, He became more popular after Come To Daddy
because it was so in your face and new. Windowlicker helped
too, those tracks done the rounds to lots of people.
Windowlicker got to around 18 in the UK singles chart.

Actually it's pretty daft to say even now the world knows
his talents, As it stands a lot of people still don't know
who Aphex Twin is. We all do because we are on this board,
The world is pretty big y'know. ;)

I get your point.. but when you read the article it seams
like... Richard show for the first time in 1997, that he had
a talent....

Well I'd certainly disagree with anyone saying he first
showed talent in 1997, but I don't think the guy in the
interview was saying that, just that his music became more
accessible and predominant so people picked up on his
presence.
