Would you play with Radiohead?

No. I wouldn't play with them since I don't like them. It's
hard enough to go on tour with a band you like and see them
play the same songs every night. It's even worst if you
don't even like them.

thanx Jand...hey since youre a Moderator, can you explain
why the links sometimes are blue instead of red?

ARCH: it's in the FAQ "How to include URL's/links in my
message?"...

as for blue & purple links....a virgin link you haven't
clicked on appears in blue...once you've clicked on it,
it'll subsequently appear purple/mauve...makes it easy to
see where you have & haven't been when you've got a big
list of links...

yep, sorry...looks like the setup here is

red for links already visited...
blue for links unvisited...

Not sure about why mine above is underlined and yours
isn't....I'll have a play around and see if I can work it
out...

the bluelink-underline thingy happens random. I just wanted
to ask you if you knew what triggered it. The red link is
always red....bot visited and unvisited

how did you...

offline jand from Braintree (United Kingdom) on 2002-07-25 11:15 [#00323879]
Points: 5975 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

There is a logic to it...not random...

links will appear as red if you've visited where they link
to before...so if I put a link in now to aphextwin.nu, it'll
appear as RED....

=P ...

It's cuz the class of the CSS tag misses out when a BR BR is
inserted

good one; I knew you'd find it sooner or later (only
stumbled across it myself up above, hence my initial
confusion over what you & Arch were asking...:)...

Where I work we recently changed the default behavior of the
A tag on our staff intranet, so it fitted into our newish
colour scheme. Even tho it was a tiny tiny change visually,
we got so many arsey phone calls about it...everyone was
like "My computers bust", "my students are missing"...all
because we changed a shade of fucking blue...

Had to change it back in the end...:(...makes the design
look shit but at least the monkeys are happy now...;)..
