...do you find that when improvising you often "stumble" on bits of music you recognise? I was messing around on my keyboard trying to get used to the keys and I was playing a bit from "Dark" by Manic Miner :)

We have an old organ upstairs, and sometimes I sit down and randomly hit the chord buttons and the keys, and come up with something brilliant. More often than not, it sounds like random crap, but sometimes you hit the sweet spots. I can't really play a keyboard, not correctly anyway.

Sometimes...
That last track on Autechre's Garbage EP is really easy to play and sometimes my fingers just fall on those notes, and then halfway through the progression I just decide to keep playing it because it's such a nice sequence.
