I've gotta give Flea and Orange Dust some props too.

it had nothing to do with you zeus, it's the attitude of a
good two or three dozen of the artists on this board. it's
better than them all saying "i suck so bad" but it gets a
bit old. btw saying someone is on his own dick (ie:
dickriding) doesn't mean the same thing as "he IS a dick".

well it did have alittle to do with me... since I said i
like mine the best ;)

and ive never heard that saying before...

interesting :)

for the longest time, ID Lab posted on this here board, and
made some VERY VERY VERY good music to chill too... i've
loved listening to that guy forever. then one day, he just
stopped posting :(

i too, like many on this board, love, mWm's stuff... or
however it goes :) it's weird ambient & noise scapes make me
smile

I would have to say MyLittleSister aka Jack Theedom.
This kid has immense musical talent--check out his stuff
NOW, either at his zebox page, or on zebox.

''I vote for Orangedust, and just slightly behind is m W m.

Zeus and Marlowe are also really good, as is Flea. ''

I agree with my old self, for once!

As for my muzak, I lost my Fruityloops files and MP3s in a
harddrive hiccup a while ago... now I back everything up
obsessively. I was just starting to work on some incomplete
stuff after a big break (when I had a job and no time for
music) and when I lost it all... it was just SOOOO fucking
discouraging.

Hahaa! I remember my first tracks, the drill and bass with
the sci-fi synth, the cheesy orchestra thingy, the weirdo
piano/drum break jam... haha, wish I still had those tracks.
I had better stuff than that (I spent a lot more time on
them so I never got around to finishing them) but they got
zapped. They were all directionless little clips though.

I really should get off my ass and screw around with it,
I've got nothing better to do lately. *belch

damn i just got 1/2 second of full volume!! then it cut out
again. i bet chris from chris+fenris could fix this...

breakcore.. what from you?

from what ive downloaded of your stuff, its not breakcore at
all :) youve got a much more likeable tangent.. yknow a
general wierdness in the rhythms.. i rekn youre on to
something. the wierd shit is the king of me :] you dont go
overkill on the trademark intelligent effects either,
something else i respect. to be honest that sort of stuff
also bores me shitless..

There are only a few people on the board who I haven't been
impressed with (I won't name them though :P)

Others who are really good but I don't think have been
mentioned here are Aoens, Skink, Hyakusen and Ambsace and
there are a couple of others who I think are up and comers
including nobsmuggler and headphukker but there are many
more I have probably missed :D
