I like the experimental classical music. but i like some bethoveen. i don't like peieces that go on and on and on for like an hour. i find those hard to listen to...and most of them are too 'bouncy' for me...meaning they're too fast and giddy i suppose. but thats okay... i dont mind some stuff like that.
i like slower peices...more for chamber...not so much whole orchestra. but i think i'll rather hear a choir sing....i like either all female or all male...not mixed. i love choral music. slow...almost 'back in the castle days' type music or 'roman catholic' type singing..but not so much. the music where latin is used.

I was listening to The Thieving Magpie earlier. So purdy. I don't really know all the names and what music they did, but I love classical.
But even I can spell Beethoven right, Zeus :-p

Mozart and Bach are ze masters IMO
i prolly have more classical music than any other genre...my mum's italian an i was suckled on opera and classical music. i was such a musical snob, never listening to crapsky ze peeps in school listened to....especially radio crap. anyway it would take me days to list my fav's but suffice it to say...on the piano horowitz has no equal....on the guitar segovia is the master....those two men bring the music TO LIFE for moi! =0)

I have a question. Somebody answer it or the girl dies.
In 2001: A Space Odyssey, that classic them music (also Ric Flair's entrance music, cool), is that John Williams? Or is it some classical guy from long ago? I am confused, which happens often.

I'm not really a fan of any particular "classical" artist apart from Reich or Satie (who I suppose are too modern to count...), but I do really like certain pieces by various classical composers.

we were drinking vodka with Raymond (he always has a bottle of Stoli at every gig), talking crap, Hein was drinking Southern Comfort (his fav) and had some Corona's with the other band members... until we got all pissed and started to play hide'n'seek backstage... except for Liv... that she always leaves for her hotel...

I'm in my classical music discovery phase. Right now I'm purchasing stuff faster than actually absorbing it in my brain. I think I generally like the Baroque period until the early romantic period more than the music after that because, for me, the earlier music has more coherence and most of the later music is more like orchestral FX. The exceptions are Ravel and Debussy, but maybe that's because I have their music a bit longer so I understand it better. I'm currently exploring Beethoven's Stringquartets and I really like them a lot, although Grosse Fuge(last part of his final quartet) is still a little bit too difficult for me, right now. Classical music has really made my life better, I feel more inspired and a bit happier. So, yes I like classical music.
