Someone on ebay is offering Rubber Johnny's EP on Warp
Records, claiming it's an Aphex release. It's not though, is
it?

A 'rubber Johnny' is a condom in case you didn't know. It's
a bit of a childish way of callign it. This might well
appeal to the twin.

+++++++++++

$6 on CD, Type "Rubber Johnny" "jamrolypoly" into
www.google.com and you may get it cheeper.

it's well known to be jp buckle who did a record on rephlex
and also was in the band the alll seeing eye who had a uk
number one about 3 years ago and were quite big -he wore
rephlex wrist bands on top of the pops

The All seeing I? Really? It's a small world. The 'drummer'
in that group had a mega death t-shirt on too during TOTP.
An odd mix.

yeah that was him - with rephlex wristbands - it was ironic
to wear those t shirts then now it's just the sort of
thing that silly pop star people who don't buy their own
clothes do ..
people tend to say laods of things on e bay are by aphex
when they aren't though

Oh man do I know this. 'ULTRA RARE APHEX
TWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' and it's a robbie williams vinyl or
something.

yeah but it's strange - if people are willing to pay for
something cos they think it's him when they have no prrof -
when they may not pay for something that isn't him..
like buying a pair of trousers with s designer label - i
reckon cos of the speculation around who is astrobotnia
people will buy it cos they think it is aphex...
