I found this really great review of the Warp Magic Bus Tour
shows in Germany here:

Remember that "unknown IDM artist" compaining about not
having enough money because people were downloading his
tracks? The guy who originally claimed he was Richard
Devine, well read this (from the above article):

...we’re entertained...by Atlanta’s machine funk psycho
Richard Devine (a muscular, bullet-headed, 25-year-old
skater and ultra-smart computer design student who **makes
tons of money doing Nike ads**).
