No,never done,and never will.
I think it's childish.
Why do kids do this anyway?

taggin and grafitti can be somewhat related to music. It's a
way for a artist to get there style/skill out in public and
there by getting respect and apreciation from theyre fellow
artists.

Just because you don't understand graffiti doesn't mean it's
childish. Not only kids do graffiti. I know people that are
25 and still do a lot of graffiti and these are not outcasts
of society but normal people with jobs and sometimes even a
family.

If you don't have any friends who do graffiti, i understand
it may seem like pure vandalism, but you will see things
differently when you get to know what it's about, just like
the music we all listen to here sounded like nothing more
than plain and simple noise when we weren't into it yet.

You should try to be open minded and not only look at tags,
which can sometimes really mess things up when there are too
many of them, but also look at the colorful pieces out
there. It's the same thing, both tags and pieces are
graffiti and i cannot imagine how boring everything would be
without them.. but that's just my opinion.

While on this subject, has anybody been aphex bombing yet?
I've recently been busy with an aphex logo template and my
trusty black marker. I'll get some pics soon.

that's not graffiti, that's vandalism..

one of the most important rules in graffiti is that you do
not tag on personal property such as houses and cars.

I think tags look fucking shit.

They just look crap and messy, and really accentuate urban
decay. It's all very well calling it "art", but it's a form
of art that I'd prefer not to see, yet I see it everywhere.
It's therefore invasive and, frankly, it disgusts me.

Plus, I have never met a single "tagger" who isn't an utter
wanker.

I definitely dont do graffiti.I think most of the kids that
do it here are reatrds! No disrespect intended for anyone. But
I live in Los Angeles and a lot of kids over here it seems
just do it to fit in or be cool or something.I dont think
everyone that does it is retarded. But I believe it has
changed from say ten years ago or more. Some of the people
that do it are really talented. But a lot of the new
generation is just kids that want people to think they are
cool. Its not even art to them or anything of that nature. Its
just "look at me,im tagging im cool".No disrespect intended
to no one again. But thats how I see it in Los Angeles.

i have a handful of friends that do it one of them had
tremendous talent but kinda wasted it on drugs and shit. a
couple of the others aren't really good at it but they try
really hard and i give them respect for that. and as far as
tags those are fucking gay but pieces are quite creative!

People try to pass of alot of bull as art. Graffiti is not
one of them. It is one of the purest forms of art. First,
almost all cases you dont get paid. Second, you do it in
the dark, you have to know what colors are going to work,
when you do it all you see is shades of grey and black.
Third, you risk arrest. Other artist sit in there heated
studio's and drink coffee, and have an infinite amount of
time to complete a work. On the other hand, graff your
freezing your arse off, your time is limited and you can
barely see what your doing, not exactly easy.
Real artist call them selves writers and a tag is a
signature to compliment there piece which is much bigger and
filled in. Graffiti basically started or should i say got
good when people put it on subway, or train cars, real
writers paint trains because they travel around for other
artists to see and photograph. Its a traveling gallery. It
also belongs on run down buildings, dirty alley ways,
certain roof tops, graffiti has it place. Graffiti does not
belong in suburbia, nice stores that are open for business
etc. Graffiti is worldwide and has some amazing artist.
there is no limit. Its just a medium. Why does it matter,
spray paint or oil if you have skill. why do the people
using spray paint get less recognition, even though some are
better than people using oil that are getting recognized as
good. You dont have to paint only letters you should check
out these artist on www.artcrimes.com, DAIM, THE MAC,
TOAST, MODE 2, LOOMIT, DONDI, SEEN, DARE.
