damn, i was going to reply to this thread about
HAB, because it's such a fuckin' great ep -- it's the
pinnacle of drill n bass -- AFX shoulda left it at that, but
i think his next release will be something great, i really
do...

...but anyways, this EP fuckin' rocks.

All the Hangable Autobulb stuff is right there among his
best work, yet the twat won't release them on CD. Not only
the pinnacle of D and B, but the pinnacle of TWATINESS!!!
I'd buy them.

Everyday is one of his best tracks ever, it's just so
emotional and wacky and too cool to fool.

Marlowe, agreed with you 500%,this is his best so far,the
drill-n-bass he does is sooo fucking wonderful, besides, the
combination he does between analog and digital equipment is
just unbelievebable...Drukqs is great,don't misunderstand
me,still think is a masterpiece, but it is all
electronics, except the piano-works,most were done in a room
treated with an old reverb machine made in the 70's.
HAB1&2 were made combining analog synths and samplers plus
conputers,damn they're so great!!!!!

I love the HAB's, it's really great dnb and has a
consistency to it unlike anything else rdj has released
imo... Arched Maid via rdj is the peak, and Laughable Butane
Bob is another favorite

Do you have any ideas how many sexual favors I'd perform for
a copy of 'The Caustic Window' album on chrome tape? I love
HAB and really desire a copy on CD rather then the crappy
MP3's, Vinyl would be even better. The thing I'd most like a
copy of has to be Analogue Bubblebath 5 on vinyl. Do any of
you have any ultra rare Aphex vinyl or CD originals? The
best I have is Universal Indicator Green and Joyrex J4.

I have both HABs, bought in the shops, they are the only
rare AFX that I own.

It's cool you got those at the time of release. I kinda feel
like a slut when I have to buy them second hand. Another
thing that annoys me is that I get accused of getting
Universal Indicator Green just because it's by Aphex Twin, I
didn't, I got the whole set because I love and DJ acid. I'm
sure someone out there has a huge set of vinyl sitting
unused, when it's with me I try to keep it in the public
domain by getting out with it as much as possible for others
to enjoy. How many copies of analogue Bubblebath 5 are out?
20 or something?

Only 4? The same as 'The Caustic Window' Vinyl? Darn. I'd
also love a copy of Stereotype by Stereotype (Tom Jenkinson)
I have no idea how many copys of that are kicking around but
i've seen none. Whooski on that kicks ass. It really fucks
with your head.
