okay, i wasn't there and i'm sure loadsa crazy shit happened 'off-screen' but i must say, after a bit of braindance in my kitchen, it looked pretty crappy.
I DID see the origional 1971 version on friday and it looked fucking great. muSically it was solid and there were dare-i-say it, braindance-moments in some of the percussion bluesey bands.(dunNo who they were)- the jamming, the raw energy the sheer liberating fun of it all.

It did look very up and down. Queens Of The Stone Age were fantastic, but the rest of the bands they showed were mostly popular shite...

yeah the 1971 film was great - showed how shit and fake Glastonbury has become - when i was there in '98, it was full of fronters and snobs -- when i asked for a henna tattoo of the OHM sign, they didn't have a clue :S
