you have to go there.....they have an unbelievable idm
selection, everything you could ever want!!!! As a matter of
fact, i'm thinking about driving down there on friday. It's
on the corner of detroit ave. and 117th street (sound
familiar??).

is it in downtown cleveland or a little outside. im sure i
could get their easily thanks a lot for the info. some other
cool places for you to check out is Record
revolution,chris's warped records(mostly punk\indie though
and barely any or any electronic at all) and My Generation.
I think my generation and chris's warped have websites too.

it's a little outside of downtown, pretty close to some nice
park on lake erie. i hope you can find it alright, i'm not
too familiar with the cleveland area. thanks a bunch for the
other recommendations, i'll have to check them out.

you dont only like electronic right? none of those stores
have a big electronic section but they do have a lot of good
stuff.

no, i like all types of stuff....as long as it's
interesting. the record stores here in detroit aren't very
good. there is maybe one or two decent ones, but that's it.

my generation is very cool but i dont think they have any
vinyl from what i remember. they have lots of dvds and cds,
a used section too but its not too big. rec revolution has
a big vinyl section but mostly older stuff and they have
lots of posters and local music and clothes\shoes etc they
also have used cd section thats pretty good. chris's warped
records has almost only new and used vinyl but mostly
indie\punk stuff but they have videos and new and used cds.

are those places located around the downtown area or are
they spread all around the suburbs?

chris's warped recs:
13383 Madison ave
lakewood, ohio 44107

rec revolution:
1832 coventry road

also on the same street as rec rev are the cd\game exchange

Murray Street is a great record...not a classic though. Pick
up Washing Machine if haven't got a copy already...it's
their best release

EVOL, Sister and Daydream Nation are my favorites. Dirty is
a great "mainstream" album.

I haven't listened to anything by them since 1994, maybe
it's time to give another listen - their new album is
getting great reviews.

I have washing machine and goo only for some reason. I want
to get them all sometime but they have way too many so itll
take a long time.

daydream nation is generally regarded as the classic sonic
youth album, it has indeed everything.

sister is also very nice. murray street is definately one of
my faves, very old skool, not too experimental like the last
record, but nice anyway

I like them too, especially when Kim sings. I currently only
have washing machine which made a good impression on me so
I'll look for another album by them.
