hey have any of you guys heard autechre's remix of jello's
chimzamzee?

i found it on slsk, apparently it is a piano piece. or it is
a hoax, cause i find it very hard to believe autechre would
do this.

it's very beautiful though. no beat whatsoever

so tell me what you think of the autechre remix? it isn't a
remix in the strict sense, i think :) but it's nice,
there's even the tiniest hint of structure or at least a
recurring motif.

kinda like the drukqs piano pieces, only much longer

cheers for the tip...dling this at the moment...

I really love the sound of a piano...there's somthing very
simple but very emotional about its sound that no other
instrument really replicates...fave AFX piano track has got
to be "If it is really me" from SOSW, so simple but so
utterly bewitching...

I haven't heard of this EP before...if it's good, it's yet
another one to go on my "need to buy" list.. (assuming it's
still available...)...

finally someone notices ;) there are so many autechre fans
out here, but only cortex replied!

i thought it was a hoax at first, but it's the real thing.
unbelievable autechre would do a piano song. it's a sweet 'n
sour song.

it's a limited release, but check out eBay for a copy.

even the follow-up album "voile" has some nice piano
tracks...

I have that promo, its called Ultramatique 6, and actually
doesn't appear on the Voile album (I believe its called Neph
instead).
