i've just checked that he hasn't big discog as "luke
vibert". only one full-length album - big soup. since
i've nothing from his work and i've heard just a bit, i'd
like to get something.
is this album and plug's drum n bass for papa
worth?

It is. It is a very good drum 'n' bass, a lot like IDM
stuff. Also check out his two albums as Wagon Christ: "Tally
ho!" and "Musipal"

I haven't heard it, sorry. Musipal is exactly how you
described it, although Tally Ho is better. BTW, he has a
collaboration album with BJ Cole (my spelling might be wrong
here.)

Big Soup is one of my favourites, if you can find it, get
it...

ranks like this

1.Luke Vibert-Big Soup
2.Wagon Christ-Tally Ho!
3.Wagon Christ-Musipal

but get whatever. youll want them all anyway : )

BJ Cole is some lapsteel guitarist and I haven't listened to
that album but I was told it's a bit poppier and mellower,
compared to other LV's stuff.

BJ Cole played on some of the Verve's stuff I think. I saw
them play in London together. I wasn't bowled over but
hearing it with more experienced ears might have been
better.

He plays live with Richard Ashcroft now doesn't he? I saw
Richard Ashcroft about a year and a half ago but can't
remember if BJ was there or not.
