strange bass phenomena on drukqs

has anyone else noticed that on tracks 1 (jwnweythek ylow)
and track 14 (hy a scullyas lyf a dhagrow) there are some
strange low low frequency noises going on through the whole
track?

(btw: both these tracks are the soft piano-ish type)

i only noticed this once i got my new speakers w/ a
subwoofer....
theres this really quiet, subtle bass noise in teh
background....

sounds like (im guessing here) something slowed down a LOT
till it just becomes 'noise'...
the actual sound sounds something like rubbing a microphone
(sort of)

u can hear it a lot more easily if u turn up the bass on ur
speakers (or the lowest band in the winamp eq)

has anyone else noticed this?
what do u think it is?
have u tried to process it to find out what it could be?

i think i will mess around w/ it in soundforge (speed it
up) and see what i can find... but i dont really know what
im doing so dont expect anything

those of you who DO know what ur doing... please have a look
and see what u can find

ps: of course this does not happen on any other tracks, so
its not my speakers or computers or my ears for that matter

It could just be subsonic rumble picked up by the mics.

but why would he let a 'mistake' like that on to the album?

surely he would have noticed it.... its audible even without
turning up the bass

natural sounds from the instrument.

There's all kinds of weird sounds on Drukqs. That noise
during Avril 14th... like the piano has stuff stuck in it or
something... what a weirdo.

ummm

your speakers def arnt picking up super low freqs (sub
30hz,,,)

im tuned at 33hz, and do about 142dB at 31Hz =D =D =D =D

talk about low freqs
?

this whole cd is BY FAR thee lowest dipping cd he has ever
put out.

cock/ver10 is sick
mt saint michaels is sick

54 cymru is sick

all these dip well into the low 20s

and no

reg computer speakers will NOT pick that up at all,

you wil hardly be able to hear it

keep in mind im 130dB+ ~ 25Hz

ya i know

sorry if i used the term "super low frequency"
incorrectly... i just meant low

my sub goes down to around 45, thats it (yes i realize 'real
world' performance prob isn't quite that low)

lets put it this way, even the "acoustic" tracks on drukqs
aren't completely "live", the more observant of you may have
noticed that the "piano" has 2 C3 keys...

that low sound is a sample that is stretched really long.

if you speed the enitre cd up really fast it says

"Richard D James is Astrobotnia"

but then again...

Im a lier
