watmm.com, it used to be joyrex.com

(runs as fast as he can from phobiazero)

Ahh, thanks recycle.

I haven't been to joyrex since I "came back"

Have you named your child yet?
If not, name it Vie Nil to get some free publicity from the
press for our record label.

I don't like the style of Joyrex's message boards...
Xltronic will be much better methinks... not to really take
away from Watmm, because I've checked it out and it looks
really cool... but Xltronic will rule!!! :)

The_Funkmaster,I agree with you the watmm.com looks very
kool, but we are going to rule the world when our
Xltronic.com page launches on august...I know Phob&Co. will
do the best design ever, plus we are going to be in the
mb.......We rule,so does Phobiazero!!! =)

I already spend enough time on the main page of xltronic
listening to the music =)

i think xltronic will be better.... but its hard to tell so
far

cus xltronic doesn't really exist yet..... and watmm isn't
even CLSOE to up and running yet.

but given phobiazero's excellent job on aphextwin.nu.....
and xltronic's focus on a lot of different artists
(including more obscure ones) (btw u can tell this already
by the samples on the site, a good impression)
...i think it'll be xltronic all the way!

offline Ophecks from Nova Scotia (Canada) on 2002-06-26 17:43 [#00285820]

watmm is too slow... I've got a fast as hell cable modem,
but it still seems sluggish. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the
SPEEDY and STLYISH .nu? Loads in the blink of an eye, AND
looks better than watmm already.

I can imagine watmm being a pain in the ass for 56kers, am I
right? Not very streamlined, and the drop down menus are
annoying for some reason.

Good site, but I think xltronic is going to beat it, for
sure.

offline nacmat on 2002-06-26 17:52 [#00285832]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker

I like it being here..I like the people here... and this
site has everything I want... I am sure xltronic will be the
best of all as v4 has been the best this last times....

I am sure joyrex is working hard, and watmm shall be very
good...but not the best... xltronic will be number one... at
least for me

offline Joyrex from watmm.com (United States) on 2002-06-26 18:28 [#00285872]
Points: 1389 Status: Lurker

Why does everyone insist on pitting Phobia and myself
against each other? I'm not out to 'beat' him or 'better'
him in any way, shape or form - he has a right to do his
thing, I have mine. Visit either, both or neither - the
sites will be vastly different, so having both rather than
one or the other is best, I think.
It's not like one or the other is gonna pack it in if one
has something the other doesn't or gets frequented more than
the other.

most of the links at watmm.com doesn't work... discographies
for example, nothing... is it normal or is it me? :(

well joyrex:

its obvious we can go to either site...and that both will be
very interesting...but its normal that people who usually
post here tend to think that this place is or will be
better... its stupid (maybe) but its perfectly normal.
we dont think this is any kind of race or battle...we are
more or less intelligent... this was just an innocent thread
to talk about.

Well, I can't fault your enthusiasm for xltronic - I'm sure
it will be superb, and contain tons of content for you all
to digest.

uzim: most links do work (with the exception of the
discographies) but there is little content as of yet - still
getting things set up.

I gotta admit Phob has things organized way better than I
did - he's got peeps with time and skills lined up to help
him add content, and I am sure the programming/graphics will
be just as good as .nu with Phob and TuneMX and the others
behind it all.

But before we get to that let me ask you something?

What are the biggest stumbling blocks you're having to make
beats like pros?
Want to create electronic music?
Are you tired of crap samples?
Maybe you are dreaming of making money or get famous with
your own music...

humorous.
I never ventured to WATMM. xltronic and neo ouija were the
only message boards I frequented back in the day -- met
interesting and swell people. It's good to see some old
skool peeps here, on xltronic. What is the quality or
better stance surrounding WATMM? (I will have to check it
out now; curiousity.)

I rarely read WATMM but finally joined since it cleaned up
and braindance went down.

With xlt, watmm, bd (ex-mu board),,, that was the ultra
trinity electronic board random shit super team. I felt the
3 together, filled-in each other's gaps.

WATMM is full of boring elitist dorks, they suck... I mean,
you guys suck too, but in a different way, I can still post
random shit and enjoy myself, WATMM however is serious
autistic business!

one still has active management and administration while the
other has some security guards who kept hanging out long
after the lights came on, and then after the power was shut
off and the windows boarded up. Their authority is based on
never being asked to turn in their tasers once the
administration more or less abandoned the property save
paying the rent.

It's like a historic landmark that's been left go with
vestiges of a thriving community squatting inside playing
lord of the flies.

i would have to try really, really hard and at risk to make
this account on watmm tho, so there's that.

plus there's a lot of boards that look just like watmm, but
only one v2 extended site space.

obviously the lights come on right when the show's over.

the power gets shut off later because the place isn't being
kept up. that is a metaphor for the loss of features and
functionality.

fuck happened to that? It was all web 2.0 shiz but kept the
dark grey + brown color scheme, iirc.

Was that just a plan to get dubturbo points to buy pillz?!

The site's dying because Phobia is slowly but surely
tracking down all the members and killing them, until
there's no one left who remembers "Candy Pack".
