Points: 6617 Status: Addict | Followup to Steamtank: #00282627

No, of course not. It is a name Meho is short for Mehmed
which is another way of saying Mohammed, the great islamic
prophet, the founder of islam. Krljic is just a thought-up
last name (though it might even exist somewhere) but it
sounds cinvincing enough. Overall, meho Krljic is almost a
parody of Bosnian male names, people from former Yugoslavia
probably laugh their ass off when they see it, but the
humour is lost on the rest of you, I guess.

Not tons better than bob *Mcbob* though, bob mcbob is great,
symmetrical. Only a couple of humorous jackasses would name
their kid bob with a surname mcbob.

no it doesnt rhyme with anything...pronounced ee-an, the
same as 'ian' but with an extra 'i', for some reason.
hmm but i like the idea of it sounding posh....:)

cerulean means blue or azured... :)

(btw, find something which rhymes with clément in english,
knowing that it's a french name and that the last sound of
it doesn't even figure in the english phonetic alphabet in
my dictionary... heh... it only rhymes with some french
words)

offline Bob Mcbob on 2002-06-24 11:08 [#00282781]

im a bit confused about that actually.....apparantly iain is
the scottish version of the english word ian....even though
ian is the scottish version of the english word john...since
no one in my family has ever been to scotland im not sure
why i am called that :)

offline Meho Krljic from Beograd (Yugoslavia) on 2002-06-24 11:11 [#00282785]

That was to be my next question: how is Ian related to Iain?
But OK, well... Are you sure Ian is a scottish version of
John?

offline Bob Mcbob on 2002-06-24 11:13 [#00282792]
