actually, jenifer lopez is a horrible actor in my book, and really helps kill a decent "breakthrough" (as mtv would rate some of their more creative vids) movie. the movie was shot like a video with about 10 times the amount of cuts that a normal movie has (simular to requiem for a dream) so the mtv refrence IS called for here. anyways, poor plot development, and bad acting on jennifer lopez's part killed the movie, and her co-star's (the psyco killer) carrer of "immediate" rolls from his performance in this one.
man, this movie was SOOOO promising. i do like it, but can't watch it over and over like i would if they didn't have these faults.

Jennifer Lopez also had a main part in the movie U-turn. That's a pretty good movie (starring sean penn and jlo)

Matthew Barney is one of my favourite photographers!!!
How do you know they "stole " it from him? just because it's the same style?

keyfumbler, I should state that I hate hollywood movie making techniques, since the are 'fancy' and not 'real' like for e.g. European cinema, but you have to admit dat dis movie was fun to watch and dat it has some nice ideas & art in it...

its pretty clear he ripped Barneys style ,the dreamscenes reminds so much of his art its almost annoying to see it,but its not as distinct as the horse scene which is 100% absolut Hirst ,just got abit upset first time i saw the cell, but then ive seen it like 3 times ,so it must be rather tasty after all :-)
after all the director did R.E.M.s losing my religion which was a bit of a masterpiece when it came ,maybe Barney copied him even
