why is it we can put a man on the moon but we can't invent
butter which spreads straight from the fridge?

WELL, WHY?

its simple, the fridge cools the butter beyond its normal
temperature; its normal temperature is when it spreads
easily.

earthleakage: we probably could (some way or another) make
butter that spreads straight from the fridge, but it's just
such a trivial thing that I guess it just isn't worth
accomplishing.

if there are no cows on the moon, how come it's made of
cheese?

the cows are on mars and the venus farmers made so many
cheese that they had to put it somehwere.. and the moon was
born.

so why didn't they create a venus moon? i suppose it was too
hot or something, and they needed it to be stored at
approximately 5 degrees, just like a fridge

several of history's brightest minds have dedicated their
ENTIRE lives trying to solve butter's mysteries.

it's unpossible to fathom. it's best to move on and just
eat your torn toast without complaint.

Just cover your butter and leave it on the table. Why are
you fridging it even? It's nice and spready when you leave
it out all the time

there has been some tv ads about some butter that would
spread easily right from the fridge, actually... i've heard
they do this by not removing all the whey before making the
butter...
