I love my cat, I consider him a friend of another species, not simply a pet. And I have not named him. Cats have no concept of names, let alone language. So to be more considerate, I just meow or make other sounds to get his attention, as he can relate to that much better. I also think, like who am I to impose a name on him that mightn't properly represent him, ie. his "soul". I do still talk to him a lot, and have hundreds of "pet names" for him (eg. Chicken-baby-head, Tootee, Bootsown, Gingo) but it's just like noise to him. And he has TONS of personality (at least as much as a dog) and he even fetches! He is a gorgeous Chocolate Point Siamese with unbelievable violet eyes. |

IMO, the greatest about them is really that they have the SOUL, the personality, AND don't generally give a fuck about us! Yeah, he sits in your lap cuz you're warm and stuff, but he doesn't fuck about with lovin' eyes like a dog. Hate this dog behavior - one shouldn't devote all his fuckin' life to his master... hahaha you couldn't be more wrong.... you don't need to train a dog for it to like you... a owner trains a dog just for fun and since dogs are more inteligent than cats they obey... cats are stupid thats why they dont obey owners... there are very little wild cats (not including lions tigers etc...) but there are large ammounts of wild dogs that survive even in the harshest conditions... cats have to rely on humans to feed them.... they will not survive on catching a local bird or a lizard .... cats are pathetic... they don't devote all their "fuckin' life to his master" because they are simply stupid and will die without the "master"... i may have talked in circles a bit uring that explanation.. but its late and i am very tyred......but i am sure you get the drift i dont want to speak any more about idiotic cats cause Pulp Fiction is going to be on TV soon and its one of my fav movies.... |

My cat Hassan is now the coolest cat in stockholm!! Why?...because i recently bought him a spiked collar!! He look so badass now! but still cute =) I love my cat ! he is well trained like a dog . He can sit on command and he never jumps up on dinner tables or windows. Once he came home with a small rabbit in his mouth haha! (he was not so cute at that moment lol !) JedyChris:: your cats are brothers and chear food etc ..? Apparently thats a common thing about cat brothers. I saw a program about two lions who where brothers and cheared females food and fought other male lions away. They where unbeatable because they where two , they even killed other male lions. My cat used to have a brother (Linus) who lived with our neighbour. They used to hunt and play together. They even sat outside the others house and waited for the other to come out like normal kids do. When you opened the door in the morning Linus could sit there looking at you like "can Hassan come out and play?" Linus is dead now =( very tragic... |
