windowlicker sounds like a typical crap song that you'd hear on MTV.
but that's the point.. so it's brilliant in that way.
i still can't listen to that track. because it's so crappy.
equation sucks BTW... and nonnou it's a good one..
so the EP it pretty crappy only one song worth and not worth the price.

I like it because it's a creative and well done joke... i don't like listening to it tho'.

Repetitive you got to be joking? This is probably my favorite song ever. Only becuase I don't think I have listened to a song as much as it and not lost one bit of love for it. It's fucking brilliant.
Nothing on MTV sounds like windowlicker. Just say you don't like it and stop giving bullshit reasons.

Hey, but it is so: windowlicker is a kind of a destilate of 90s pop/dance culture/sound, chewed, digested, regurgitated and somehow ransomed in the process. He takes all the worn-out cliches and all the micro-history and conceptual baggage that they have and just turns it into something pure after all. This track proved to me he was no 1 after all. It also solidified his position as a re-action artist (started with Come to daddy), taking inspitration from existing art rather than from non-art. Drukqs was a welcome step-back, but not that successful...

Windowlicker is absolutely incredible. When I first heard it, I swore that it was the best song EVER. I just couldn't imagine music getting any more brilliant and beautiful than that!!
I also used to think it was very sad, somehow a very tragic song, until I saw the video. Then whenever I listen to the song I think of the video to it and I just crack up and it's impossible to think of it as anything but comical.

there's a version of windowlicker with sort of scratching noises on. it's at the end of the video on the credits.
i agree w/ funk - windowlicker is the perfect idm pop song imo - it's got glitches and wierd voices and it's often changing. like the distortion bit at the end. and its catchy like pop music.
