I think they should use their influence responsibly, and
this is a great cause. Stars moaning about their money etc
is the type I don't like

of money for themselves, and not the benifet of others....

Yeah, Thom Yorke is pathetic..
"Oh woe is me! I'm making loads of money on a major record
label that I consciously signed my creative freedom away
to...The injustice of it all!"
Pffft.

money all the time, give it away!

why do people think having shitloads of money is a cure for
one's emotional problems?

did anyone say that? no.

the point I and others was making was about moaning about
having too much money. there's a simple answer none of them
have the guts to take

and why is it that protesting for international trade issues
is considered 'whining'?
are you not suppost to care about people and issues when
you're a rich rock star?

but when have they moaned about having too much money?

what i said wasnt directed at anyone specific... just the
people who always say that bands like radiohead have no
right to complain about things since theyre rich...

You're taking things 'wayout' of context.. Nyuk, nyuk,
nyuk!
But seriously.. I don't think any amount of money can
alleviate one's emotional anguish - hence the fact I didn't
say that. What I don't like about Radiohead is that they
signed themselves to a major record label that's prime
interest is generating a large profit for themselves.. For
how intelligent everyone claims Thom York to be, I can't
believe he didn't know what he was doing when he gave away
his John Hancock. I think he was probably more interested
in making it big at the time and now that he has, the
decision's come back and nipped him in the bum.
