I have always been able to lucid dream ever since I was a kid. If you try you get nowhere. The trick is total relaxation and imagination, if you trigger visualisations while nearly asleep you can begin to manipulate them etc etc. and it all leads on.

Yup, I have lucid dreams quite often, and if they're not lucid, they're very very clear. I take Paxil to treat panic disorder, and one of the side effects of the Paxil is overly vivid dreams, to the point that you think that they actually happened for a few hours after you wake up. But I've had lucid dreams for almost all my life. I feel a strong emotional connection to my dreams. Music often triggers flashbacks of dreams I've had years before, and I look back at them like a good memory.

Lucid means to become conscious in a dream and being able to control what happens (ie. where you go and what you do)

Lucid Dreaming means dreaming while knowing that you are dreaming. This consciousness allows you to guide your dreams. Incidentally, how do you know that you aren't dreaming right now

This is way too boring to be a dream...
If I were dreaming now, everything would be in black and white, and it would be raining blood, and some crazy person would be chasing me through darkness...

"Incidentally, how do you know that you aren't dreaming right now"
reality checks (RC's)
Example: Try fliping a lightswitch. 99% of the time they dont work. and the other 1% they do not work properly.
I like gravity checks. You tend to float longer on a jump.

well, according to rdj, it was lush.
and ever since, i've realized that lush is a pretty decent word.
so if a = b, and b = c, then a = c!
there you go. lucid dreams are lush! i just need to find out about these mint lollies, and if any warp artists have actually checked this MB out, and if so...do our opinions affect them?
werd.

woah, odd you post this today... as last night I had my first lucid dream!
I dont remember it all exactly... but I remember just realizing that it was all a dream, and I was happy with it, and I just thought about different things until the dream changed.
It was awesome...
Funny thing though, after I woke up, I totally forgot about it... until later, I was listening to music, and I was like, holy crap, I remember I had a lucid dream.
Interesting

theres this thing called the NOVA DREAMER. you wear it on your head when you go to sleep (it straps on like those nighttime sleeping eye bags) and once REM starts, it sends a bright flash to your retina, which doesnt wake you up, but makes you consciously aware that your inside a dream, thus making it lucid where you are free to fly and fuck as you please.
dont have any linkys but if you look up nova dreamer youll find it no prob

That whole builds his own epuipment was a lie. If he's using digital he's probably using analog and vise versa. Just to perplex. Than everyone starts buying digital when he's using analog. Everybody wonders how he gets such warm sound from digital when he's actually using analog. Or how he gets so much detail when he's using analog when he's actually using digital..This is how he thinks. That cunt! I love him.

Actually the only time I've had a proper lucid dream was taking these herbal Kalms tablets...
Took one cos the girl I was with at the time used to eat about 15 a day, or somethin, so I took 2 one night at her house... Woke up, in a dream, didn't know it was a dream for a while - Remember everything was in black & white though...
Looked out the window, saw a field of cars all upright stuck in the ground and realised everything was a little too surreal and I was dreaming...
Anyway, nothing interesting happened - I realised I was sleeping next to my girl at her house, and I realised I was asleep dreaming...
So I just sat around in this black & white house waiting for the morning!
I think it was where I grew up, I usually go there in dreams.
The Kalms tablets have got Valerian, Hops, and something else in 'em... But it was boring and nothing happened, maybe they sedated my imagination or something?
