I'm starting to agree more and more with zeus. All of the friends I have that ever used fruity loops don't get it. They don't have a clue how to make a good tune or a good beat.

I think creating electronic music is comparable to playing every instrument on an album and producing it.. a lot of work, basically
..if that makes sense

V.98x5: I really like the dark beginning to this, especially the voice you increasingly use your (?) voice as an instrument. I'm not quite sure about the transition to the next bit though. Initially it takes a couple of seconds to get your head round, maybe if you create some kind of build-up, i don't. But what comes is fantastic and after reading that you recorded those sounds yourself you get a lot more respect as the samples sound wicked! The second part of the track sounds kind of Venetian Snares like but without the ultrahardcore bits, which is A Good Thingâ„¢.
Overall a very accomplished track and I'm getting all gooey just thinking about what this next track'll sound like. Well done man!

Collecting Avi: Didn't like this one as much. There are loads of good elements but somehow it doesn't gel. I think you could either take out or randomize the "tss tss tsssss" percussion part a bit more. Again I like the way you manipulate those voices though and the layering of the melody at the beginning is great. Keep at that track though, there's definitely something there.

thanks you guys!
Like I said before, I'm not stisfied yet with collecting avi, it's a bit weak and it's not a whole yet imo.
Tho I'm very satisfied with V.98-x5 and Crispy Centre

I should've made crispy centre the second song in the list, cuz it's better than collecting avi. And most people just d/l 1 or 2 tracks and that's usually the firast and the second in the list...

Crispy Centre: I dig the beginning with the eerie sounds. Sounds like you're in a cave with bats flying around, some uncovered mummy humming/singing and an african drummer getting closer and closer...
Oh man this track does everything right that Collecting Avi did wrong, the random drums and no overbearing percussion. This is by far the best of your three tracks you've upped. How long have you been making this kind of music? Have you sent any demos off yet?

:) I just recently started getting all freaky with my music. At first it was all like moby and stuff, yunno, easy to listen to....
But now it starts to get my own shape... I haven't sent any demo's yet, I don't consider myself being that good yet, there's still much to learn... but especially autechre learnt me so much in the past few months!
but thanks a million for all your comments people!

I downloaded the uppermost one... I guess the sound itself is the best part, it sounds like the main sounds play in the right ear/panning and a fainter echo is in the left ear/panning... this effect sounds cool and probably makes the song a lot better than it would otherwise be. However the track itself when you just look at it is pretty simple/repetitive, the best part was when the fast bits come in, mostly because they form a striking contrast from the slower bits (if the entire track was fast, you'd be expecting that from the beginning and it wouldn't have had the same effect) this track wares off very quickly, the 2nd time you already expect the fast part (which is repetitive relative to a lot of better stuff imo). I wouldn't put it on a cd but it was entertaining for like 8 minutes or something, the downloading part was terribly unentertaining though, I played zelda while it downloaded though so it's cool.
