Ok, I know this is off topic towards Aphex Twin - but its a
serious thing I NEED to know about... or share at
least.

Here goes, for the last 3 weeks ive been getting these
really REALLY weird emails, file size anywhere from 2k to
132k or so, and either there is no text or no attachment, so
how can it be 132k or a bit less? On top of that its from
different email adresses every single time!! Then, my
girlfriends email adress started sending them too, and now
and then they have really weird messages such as "here is a
tool for you, i jope enjoy it you" or something weird! WTF
is this!? This is seriously fucking weird.

i got similar short messages of about 120k with a link to
symantec or some other antivirus sites from ppl i don't
know... weird. my computer has been acting strange (i can't
install norton antivrus nor mcafee!!), so i might be fucked.
anyway, delete on sight

I know I know.... but still its never been a link I get one
almost everyday man! And the one I got tonight when I got
home at 3:30am was from my girlfriends email!!!!? WTF is
that about? And it had the EXACT same message as about 10
before! Im gonna ask everyone I know on the net and in
person till I figure it out, its weirdin' me right out.

Sounds like your girlfs machine might have a virus...

Those other emails are from people who have you in their
addy book having the same virus....so all you can do is
delete em and hope however it is sorts their machine
out...(it might be from your girlfs so sorting that out
would be a good starting point..)...

probably worth doing a Virus scan on your machine as
well...just in case, they can hide real well...

HTH...

The virus is called KLEZ. It accesses the addy book in
outlook express. So long as you don't try to open the
attachments you should be OK.
Reflex do you use outlook? IF so change asap. That program
is shit. Hackers constantly look for weakenesses in it and
hack it. CHANGE NOW!

DON't OPEN IT!
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN

IT CAN EVEN BE YOUR OWN E-MAILADRESS!
