I just listened to this album my friend lemme borrow, and he was HYING it bigtime....Man these guys are horrible....anyone into this?....I am sorry but just cannot get into it at all.... |

i heard some of thier stuff once... i remember it sounding ok, but just didnt grab me in anyway, so i deleted the mp3s it sounded generic i guess |

I enjoy it, it's pleasant to listen to but not of the same degree of mic-ro-scop-ic-i-ty as some other stuff. I like the track where he raps in a melody and the track b4 that one. I'd suggest de la rosa and asora, but you clearly probably wouldn't like it. |

Lets see, I guess just 1st listen, I really was expecting something good, maybe my expectations were too high, but my buddy REALLY talked so much shit about how good this CD was, and man, I couldnt listen to even half of it... Just NOT my vibe at all |

not everything on warp has aphex twin as a reference point, i know you didn't mention him but that might be the root of the problem |

i mean, a good reference point for the prefuse73 album (assuming you're listening to vocal studies + uprock narratives) is "ccec" on autechre's ep7, that or artists outside of warp like cex |

I bought this and have only listened to it twice. It sounded interesting but didn't grab me by the balls. Its the kind of thing that I have to give a bit of time to get into. I will persevere. |

i think it's well wicked, but it gets old after a while. y'know, same style on every track (i'm talking about vocal studies.. i haven't heard the new ep yet..). it's still pretty cool though i think. |

Man, I'm gone for a couple of days and I return to see all sorts of perversities going on... Ironlung, WTF? You don't like P73??? I'm really surprised. To me it was an excellent album and the new EP is even better. Huh, I'm really surprised as I thought anyone into Ae, BoC and Plaid would dig this... But, to each their own |

Yeah I LOVE ALOT of Hip-Hop, mostly older stuff though, I think I was built up by my friend to think this was gonna just "blow my mind"....shit man, it just didnt...maybe I am the wierdo!!!=) |

No, Iron, I went to a similar Hyping last year when the thing got out and was kinda expecting something else, but I like the album anyway... Oh, well, not everyone can like everything. |
