this is the description from the site, looks very good

THREE TALES
STEVE REICH & BERYL KOROT
They turned the world upside down: the crash of the Zeppelin
Hindenburg in 1937, the atomic tests on the Bikini atoll in
1946 and the cloned sheep Dolly in 1997. Three breakthroughs
emblematic for the growth of technology in the twentieth
century. Composer Steve Reich and video-artist Beryl Korot
used them as starting point for their ‘digital
video-opera’ Three Tales, a project they started in 1997.

The show is a mixture of historic film material,
photographs, interviews and texts. The whole of the
twentieth century passes by in sound and vision. Apart from
images of the events themselves, Western and non-Western
scientific, historic and religious experts comment in
interviews on developments in the world. Are human values
often not diametrically opposed to developments in science
and technology? And where is the boundary?

Eighteen musicians and singers from the German Ensemble
Modern accompany Korot’s video images with intriguing
music; the repetitive music that characterises Steve
Reich’s compositions. His composition is made up of both
music and spoken text. Reich has been even more successful
in bringing together music and text than in the previous
opera project by Reich and Korot, The Cave, that was seen at
the 1993 Holland Festival. Connoisseurs have described The
Cave and Three Tales as blueprints for 21st-century opera.
