i went to play counter-strike, but after it authenticated
my WONid it said:

"This server is using a newer protocol ( 46 ) than your
client ( 45 ). You should check for updates to your
client."

So i went to counter-strike.net, there was a new version of
CS out, v1.5, so i d/led it and installed. I went back to
play cs and it still said the same thing!

Anyone got any ideas how i get an update for my client? the
auto-update thing doesnt work.

update? (i.e. the retail for retail and the mod for mod)
