The weather in the UK has been fucking awful for weeks now.
It's supposed to be summer, yet it's windy, rainy and quite
cool.

I've just been on the BBC weather website, where you can
look at a three month weather prediction. They say that the
rest of June will stay the same, July will be similar, and
that only in the last two weeks of August can we expect and
settled dry and sunny weather.

FUCKING APPALLING! I think suicide is the answer.

Someone mentioned in a previous thread that a lot of good
music comes from the UK - I'll tell you why: because the
weather's complete wank and so we have nothing else to do
other than sit indoors and either:

a) fester
b) masturbate
c) write music

GOD, I FUCKING hate the weather here. I really, really get
depressed by it. I'm going to have to move to sunnier
climes one day very soon.

Oh man, me too. I hate the weather here. I t does my head in
after having lived in Italy. My English mates are just so
happy if it shines for half a day. They never fail to say
that the weathe rin England isn't that bad.

Yes it fucking is. It is the same throughout the year it
just fluctuates ever soo slightly. Urghh I can';t wait to
move back out to Italy ( I am English by the way).

Quernstone: could I come and live out there too?

I might die of depression otherwise.

quite nice here in southcentral alaska :)

in fact, on sunny evenings here about an hour before
midnight, theres an alpine glow on the mountains, turning
them purple & the grass is a very rich green and the rest of
the ground is golden from reflecting the sunset.

very nice indeed

I always thought it was unusual that most of my Irish
friends didn't own umbrellas. I never went anywhere without
my pocket umbrella. :)

Yes. Lets charter a ship named the 'good ship lollipop' and
set sail for warmer climes.

I am serious though. I really want to move. The one thing
stopping me is finding a job out there. Italy is a hard
market to crack.

There are Weather Websites like

www.greatweather.co.uk
www.metcheck.com
etc...

They said last winter that we'd have loads of snow and it
would be the severest winter since '76.

It was another mild , boring winter with no snow.

Then they said that this summer would be dry hot and sunny.

It has been cloudy cold and rainy so far.

Anyone who predicts weather more than 10 days in advance is
making it all up, its bullshit. British weather always tends
to be somewhere in the middle of "not too great" and "a bit
crap". Bollocks to it :(

Smokehammer: Just think of it as an excuse to sit inside
for 24/7 writing music that will blow people's heads off.
