What are your favorite genres?
Mine:
All sorts of rock
All sorts of metal
IDM
And a bit of lounge and trip hop

I also am a great fan of Symphony...
Stand alone symphony and symphony combined with the genres
named above...

genres are always a dark alleyway - a dead end - just a good
way to build up a collection of records of a simular type
that you eventually realise are almost all crap and need to
go down the second hand shop - then you realise ever other
sucker has come up withthe same feeling - so you can;t sell
em cos they have 10 copies there already

nah, that's not the way I see it.
I buy albums that I like. Only albums that I think are good,
I never mind the genre.
But I have this feeling every 4 weeks or so that I need to
analyze my albums.. those are the times when I actually
realise what kind of different music I have.
