much better than the average trance/house act, i'll give them that. one of their songs i heard switched up to latin/salsa style 2/3 through it, very nice touch. i'd like them better if they made SHORTER SONGS.

Its two guys: Simon Posford, and Raja Ram.
Its not exactly dance music. They delve into all sorts of different styles. I recommended "Divine Moments of Truth" because of the kick ass beats they switch up during the song. Also the lyrics with the voice saying "Do DMT, LSD, I will not worry for thee."
:D

They are VERY creative with their songs. I dont wish they we're any shorter, because I feel like Shpongle is trying to tell a 'story' but its up to you to decide what pictures go with the sounds they provide.

Someone just slipped me some Shpongle...
"Star Shpongled Banner"!
Deep Thick Dub seamlessly building to total Rave Out. I had to check to see if I was still listening to the same track.
Madness!!!
Recommended to all!

The lyrics in the song Divine Moments of Truth are in fact "Divine Moments of Truth, Now I see through the eyes of DMT... gibberish"

I always feel guilty when people accuse me of 'needing drugs to like music'.

do you NEED drugs to enjoy music then? i doubt that. people who think you do are closed minded fucks.
i dont need mushrooms or pot to enjoy music, but it certainly makes things really interesting.

by the way, i'm thinking this is one of those albums you should buy, not download because:
the guy isnt that famous but he makes fantastic music and deserves money for it, and the second reason is that mp3's arent good enough, sound quality wise. loads of details in that music.
i havent seen it anywhere yet though.

I've never seen it either. I'm happy with the mp3s so far , but you're right, people should buy it when they see it!
