Wassup nu-boarders?

I normally don't upload unfinished tracks,.and maybe I'll
leave this one the way it is. but I'd like U 2 give me your
honoust opinion on what I created this afternoon.

Lateley I've been straying away from the breakbeat heavy
tracks ,.and have invested more time in creating a certain
atmospere(.or at least I think I am).

A little diversion from my normal work,.just 2 keep things
interesting for myself.

the track is called: "UF"

and can be found at the top of my soundclick page:

m

For anyone interested in checking,......I'll invest time in
your tracks.

I listened,and i rather enjoyed it...reminded me of early
Kraftwerk. Sounded uncluttered,which is what i like.Loved
the main 'China sound' melody(strings?). I'm no Xpert, but
i'd have to give it a few more listens for any criticisms. U
can hear my tunes when i move my lazy ass....}:>

quite the opposite of bashing!
the latter half of the tune is beautiful!
to be honest i'm too old for the distrorted stuff at the
beginning.
but i have listened to the second half numerous times now.
you said that it was unfinished, maybe you should revisit
the intro, and i feel that it does end a little too
quickly.
it would be safe to lengthen the melody at the end for a few
more bars w/o it dragging on, but end it abruptly like that
for sure!
i'm going to listen to the rest of yr stuff now!

Cheers skodt !

yeah,.the intro part needs some shaving,.I'm thinkin'about
adding some effects,.for better transition in the tracks.

It feels like all of a sudden something hardcore will enter,
but nothing happens :(

well,.I started out with a very hardcore beat actually,.that
I tweaked and tweaked till all was left consisted of nothing
but distorted squeek sounds.

I don't know what it is lately,.but it's like I'm fed up
with accoustic drums in my tracks. I pitch them the fuck up
or down,.

btw,....why must distorted sounds always have 2 b ascociated
with 'hardcore'.

can somebody please define the term "hardcore"?

2 me its everything other then normal/conventional music
,..mostly with a streetlike edge 2 it.

cheers weatheredstoner!

I think some reversed action underneath the beats,.incoming
reverbs etc. + a smooth bassline 2 accent the melody later
on.

But,.maybe I won't change anything,...as I'm already working
on a new track
