Is this one of the most emotional songs you've ever heard? At first I thought this song was crap and I usually skipped the track, but after hearing it a few times it really wrenches your soul from your body, twists it up, tears it apart, cuts it into pieces and places it back in you. You people are missing the whole point!!! Yes the other songs on Lunatic are better, but try to look at Wannabe in an artistic sense. He gets his feelings out VERY well with this song. This is NOT a feel-good song. Its supposed to make you cringe with pain. It was done VERY well. |

Dude I used to do the same thing. What the hell is this? SKIP TRACK. But if you listen to it for awhile you really understand the point he was trying to get across. "I wannabe your lover baby, I dont wannabe your friend" Combine that with his twisted sounds and eerie beats and its an extremely artistic song that represents all this pain he went through over some girl. It sends chills up my spine. |
