download the song i quoted in the topic: "satisfied"
i went to an open house (you know, home for sale) today and
muthafucka insisted everyone who left the house take a flag
with them. so i wrote the lyrics to "satisfied?" on my flag
on one side, and "someone call 9-11(-01)!!!!!!" on the
other.

hmm it's straight hip-hop, as in no jungle thrown in or
whatever. but the lyrics are deeper than anyone else's. he's
not abstract or party. just kind of a profound and deeply
intelligent lyricist with a political and social agenda. and
the beats are really nice too, if you like a tribe called
quest.

i'm going to name a few songs from his new album 'all of the
above' that i recommend people to download and listen to. to
be honest i don't really expect anyone to follow through on
this, but in case i'm wrong (and i hope i am because this
album is amazing):

satisfied
a charmed life
stir of echoes
one for the griot

J-Live is one of the best MCs today, I loved "The Best Part"
was a great album (nice concepts, flow lyrics etc from
J-live) but the beats could have been better (the title
track is dope tho, DJ Premier never come wack).

Hes latest album is totally marvelous tho, nice beats and
rhymes.

And YES! that track Satisifed is AMAZING both instrumental,
acapella or whatever :=)!!!!

WHAT!!?? I never seen him laugh like that!!! HE was straigt
buggin, he was pickin on me all day, tellin me what a nerd I

i showed someone my cLOUDDEAD/cannibal ox stanza before
putting it up and he said he hated it, but he hates
everything and that specific part was hotness so i didn't
take it too personally.. you shouldn't either, your verses
are always on target

is there any swedish hip-hop i should know about?

Loop Troop (they worked with The Arsonists).

Timbuktu

Spotrunnaz

Blacknuss

ADL ("Common Sense" once said that ADL was one of the 10
best rappers he ever heard). He has release a album under
the name "absent minded" and its DOPE DOPE DOPE!!! IT can
definitly compete with hip hop from the states.

Theres a lot more....

all these group flips in english....so its all good.
