A local rock radio station plays parts from Cock Verlo in
their ads. I tried to call them up and ask if they had some
Aphex to play but I couldnt get through.

i know, i'm joking. sheesh :P

i didn't notice he's from japan, i should've answered
honestly.. it's Intelligent Dance Music. it's just a silly
label they assign to electronic music that is complex and
sophisticated.

thank you for answering my dull question.
but i have another question.
why do you say IDM is silly?
Label that define electromusic as elegant
or sophisticated is silly_??

well, a lot of fans and creators of "IDM" music resent being
labeled at all, and besides that a lot of them don't like
the "DANCE" part of the name because that's not what they're
about. others disagree with the "INTELLIGENT" part, thinking
it's elitist and arrogant. most, however, are fine with the
"MUSIC" part of the label :)

hey do you like dj krush?

i prefer sakamoto .
but he is too famous.
his pre-artist is YMO.
It is awesome!
once listenig to fantastic and beautiful
song from usa and europe ,
i've never wanted to listenig to them.
japan is full of worthless music .
how about your country>?

i'm a huge sakamoto fan, his music is just amazing and the
best part of it is, there's SO MUCH of it to listen to. i
saw him live a couple years ago in dc, it was very special.

i think america has amazing music, but then again so does
japan. i listen to sakamoto, dj krush, buffalo daughter,
cibo matto, x-japan, cornelius, and many more.

i do like some YMO songs, i prefer sakamoto solo though.

moby is from new york city, usa. 13th floor elevators,
they're very old (1970s?), i'm not too sure what country
they are from.

what do you think of some of the other jp artists i
mentioned? also i forgot pizzicato 5, but they broke up :(
