I've never seen this movie but someone told me "Come To
Daddy" is played in it. Someone please tell me at which
point they play this song so I can skip right ahead to it.

what a weird coincidence (sp?) i just saw this movie
yesterday w/ my friends...

it was alright
not great though

i dont recall come to daddy being played.... but there was a
lot of that heavy/hard/industrial (i think?) type of
music...

if they just played part of it, and not the "come to daddy
come to daddy" part..... then it could have slipped by
un-noticed

i can't remeber where it is, but i think the video is
playing somewhere in the background in a bar....
can't remember exactly.
andrew kevin walker [se7en and sleepy hollow] did the
script, which joel shoemaker revised [gave it a happy
ending], thus fuking up the whole darkness and depravity of
the film.
nicholas cage is also one of the worst actors evah! [imo]
JS is also responsible for fuking up the legacy of batman on
film, which tim burton beautifully crafted.
a close-up on batman's codpiece?
wha tha fahk?!
hopefully it will get back to dark and dirty in 'batman:
year one'!
just saw spider-man, and enjoyed it quite a bit!
nice cameo from the army of darkness dude!
guess sam rami and him are still chummin it up!

AMinal, yes it was Daddy playing. If you pause it on a shot
of the turntable, you can see a strange face on the label of
the record that looks like Richard's face.

Near the end? Well, I guess i'll just watch the whole thing.
If it sucks as bad as some of you say it does then at least
I can look forward to Aphex Twin.

it should also be noted that when the two "investigators"
visit the porn director at his place, you can see him
watching the music vid on a tv in the upper right part of
the shot. it's only suiting that you can't be assoiated to
the creation of snuff porn w/o being a fan of that track.

I recognised it when i was downstairs, and you could only
hear the bass. it just occured to me "shit thats aphex
twin". and the movie kinda got better because of that.

I just heard the opening of "Tha" being used by the BBC to
promote the build up to the Commonwealth Games...

Actually I doubt most people know what the commonwealth
games are, not all being the Colonialist British Empirialist
Fascist Scumbags that I am :)

Okay I just watched it, it wasn't as bad as some of you say.
Actually it was pretty good. There's an NC-17 version? I'd
like to see it. This version I saw was pretty graphic but I
doubt it was the NC-17 version since I got it from
cockbuster.

[SPOILER]

I was disappointed with Machine's unmasking. They made such
a big deal about concealing his identity only to discover
he's just an ordinary guy. I know that was the point, but
still, I wanted something else. Also it was unfortunate that
the most interesting character in the movie, Max (Joaquin
Phoenix), had to die.

well, the original cut was too extreme to get an R rating. i
don't know if an unrated version has ever been released to
the public.

i loved machine's unmasking (and explanation or lack
thereof)! that was HILARIOUS.
