Musick to Play in the Dark Vol.I-II are genuinely brilliant. I'm not sure what else to say... Two of my favorite records of all time, right up there with Music Has the Right to Children. Coil is in a compartment of their own, there really isn't any style generalisations that can describe them. I certainly wouldn't use the words 'scarey industrial ambient'.. That makes me think of black rubber spiders and gear cogs, more akin to Front 242 or one of those crap bands. |
