http://turbid.com/images/barcelona/44-autechre.jpg

i'd never seen this picture before, they are both quite hot
as usual. rob is thom-yorking as ever before

im not gay.

but i kind of see how girls are; when they say "this is a
bad picture of so-and-so, he looks better in this other
one"

sean has this double-image thing going on, if you cover his
left eye or his right it seems you're looking at 2 different
sides of him.

That is awesome! thanks for sharing that with us :) And
yeah, sean does have something weird going on there....i
think cause its the camera work. It could have been
clearer.

Cygnus...will you join the Jedi's again?

just the right angle to the camera that it looks almost like
2 different views, he must know he's doing it cuz look at
that cheese on his mug!

They're waiting in line to see Coil in that photo..
Does anyone else on this message board think they're
amazing?

The only Coil track I've ever heard was during Titworth's
radio show once. It was GREAT, whatever it was.

What kind of stuff does Coil make?

aww, how precious.

yea coil are amazing!

ophecks, the track was called "the dreamer is still awake"
and it's from their excellent 'musick to play in the dark'
(vol1), thanks again for listening! :)

they make a lot of different types of stuff, but most of it
is really dark and scary industrial ambient (if you can
imagine that).. it's not techno at all

Musick to Play in the Dark Vol.I-II are genuinely brilliant.
I'm not sure what else to say... Two of my favorite records
of all time, right up there with Music Has the Right to
Children.
If you're looking to try a few hors d'oeuvres off of the
Coil platter I'd recommend the following(in no particular
order):

Higher Beings Command (Constant Shallowness Leads to Evil)
Paranoid Inlay (Musick to Play in the Dark Vol.II)
The Dreamer is Still Asleep (Music to Play in the Dark
Vol.I)
The Sea Priestess (Astral Disaster)
Amethyst Decievers (Autumn Equinox)
Refusal to Leave the Land (Black Light District)
Inkling (Stolen and Contaminated Songs)
Teenage Lightening (Love's Secret Domain)
Slur (Horse Rotorvator)

Have you read this interview?

Coil is in a compartment of their own, there really isn't
any style generalisations that can describe them.
I certainly wouldn't use the words 'scarey industrial
ambient'..
That makes me think of black rubber spiders and gear cogs,
more akin to Front 242 or one of those crap bands.

OK, I've come to the conclusion that I need some Coil, and I
need it soon. Thanks for playin' them, Titsy.
