I don't care too much for the Ramones. But with a cutesy
name like Dee Dee, he must have been a nice guy, and also a
fucking moron that overdosed on something.

shit...i gotta lot of time for the Ramones...musically they
weren't my cup of tea but they played a major part in the
creation of the whole Punk thing which was a huge part of
being a kid/growing up for me...

They were Punk years & years before the UK picked up on all
that and pushed it further...without people like them things
would be a lot different; even if you didn't like Punk, you
gotta admit that it's influence on everything was
immense...fashion, music, & the arts in general really
needed thatr kind of kick up the arse...

I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later with people
like the Ramones...but it's still well sad when it does...

fuck! yeah i heard about this
the ramones were so cool in a kinda cheesy kinda way.
Im proably the biggest Ramones Fan on this board.

Dee Dee Ramone was the Bass Player from the Ramones..
he would go "1, 2, 3, 4" at the start of every song :-D
i think he's done well to get to his ages being a drug user.
Many die young.
R.I.P. Dee Dee.

I wish more of you people wouldnt give him shit though.

better of dead I say, a rock musican never really
accomplishes anything until they are dead, goes the same for
a lot of people and types of art.
