In general I am using winMX . i hadn't known existence of soulseek before visiting this community. Which program is better between soulseek and winMX. Is winMX out of date???? |

WinMX is better imo because you can dl not only music but video and pictures as well. |

soulseek is the absolute best for electronic music.. especially the type people here like (and im assuming u look for) however, its a small community so good results are nto as consistant...... for more mainstream stuff, or even more major stuff (major apps) winmx is probably better also for other types of media (ie..... pics and video..... of..... uh..... ya) |

Yes Amonbrune,still depends on what you r going to do....I really suggest that for download mp3 go with Audiogalaxy and for videos,pictures,gif,mpeg,etc, go with Winmx.....Or you can better with kazaa,this program features a nice antivirus system withing the program is very good,try it.......=) |

Amon, you can get more than just MP3s off Soulseek, you can get any file. I use Soulseek only, I usually find everything I want. But I guess Winmx and the others are better for pornographic purposes. At least in my experience. Soulseek doesn't have enough porn. Thumbs down, in that regard. |

LOL....You got that right Ophecks...LOL But this Winmx or kazaa are the best,but for mp3 no one beats so far audiogalaxy and everyone knows that...I find anything there,music of course...... |

uhh, soulseek just look for music file. isn't it? and community is smaller than winMX. I have heard about Kazaa program. but i don't know it very much. when i'm using winMX i feel there isn't electoronic music . it is pity. |

Don't worry Amonbrune,Winmx is better than soulseek...Can compete hand in hand with kazaa though...I have try them both actually...... |

The only thing is I can't find many AFX or Autechre videos. actually i can't find ANY autechre videos...sucks. I got some Radiohead ones and come to daddy by afx. |

Autechre are very hard to find,actually they r coming with a dvd collection of their videos,wich I think there are only 3 or 4..........And AFX doesn't have too many either.......... |

Hey Far-east m,no prob,but if yours is a cd-rw is better ok,because you dont waste that many cd-rs instead when you download you will put them on cd-rw without finish it,so you will keep organizing mpegs there.....is that fair enough.....? |

Nope,but then again,I don't download videos because I love good quality,whenever they get released then it's time to buy it on dvd.... But,no I haven't come across any BoardsOfCanada video...If I ever do you will be the first to know my friend...=) |

Soulseek will share any type of file....I've never had any trouble finding most things on there... Software, Videos, Music...whatever...and the people on there have amazingly good taste (mainly due to it being mainly populated by members of the IDM list)...it's a small community but people who are on there generally hang around so if you don't finish dling 1 time, you're pretty sure they'll be about sometime in the future... |
