anybody heard this album out on Sub Rosa?..fantastic glitch
oriented stuff..very much in the vein of VIRTUAL FARMER
which a lot of you checked out on my recommendation...but
this suka predates that by an year..came out in 1997..
But unlike a lot of freeform glitch this album has got some
deceptively structured stuff..and it's extremely jazzy as
well..and a bit of downbeat stuff..and lots and lots
grainular glitch bits laid over the top of it all...closest
reference is the wilder bits on Go Plastic...
Highly recommended..

That virtual farmer album slightly grew off me, though I
admit I havn't listened to it enough to form a solid
opinion. It's good stuff, but not... magical. I recently got
2 cds colony mike suggested, noodles foundation and... some
other one, but they don't seem to be that great, definately
not magic, but allright. I havn't heard them enough yet
either though. Never heard of your suggestion here, awesome
avatar.

cool...
yeah VIRTUAL FARMER is a technical marvel..it will blow you
away initially and then you start deciphering it upon each
listen...hence the interest may start waning.....
what's noodles foundation like?..interesting name..

did you check out Vsnare..songs about my cat?...very
good..glitch n drill..

Bisk is a beast all of it's own like I said very jazzy..not
common in glitch stuff..is that..some of the stuff is like
what I have been trying to do with Big Black Sex Cop and
Marzipan Dolphin..just when you think you are doing
something slightly new you find out it was being done 6
years ago by some one else :(..
but it's very good..not melodic like crunch and
funkstorung..more abstract..noir soundtrack sounding..
I am quite digging it..the guy is japanese and a track
called gamelan has some of the most awesome damaged and
random percussive drumwork I have heard in a while..a bit
like my song Pax Wrepax and Pad Wrepax..but done sooo much
better..
