 | check it out...
 i don't follow b-ball so i don't really have any good
context for it, but i'm a huge nader supporter so it's kinda
odd to see he's wasting his time protesting nba calls, but
then again that's what he does for fun.. protest

 | i hope nader runs for president again, but i heard a couple years ago that the green party is running jesse jackson,
jr., who i would vote for in a heartbeat. he is very
different from his father, personally and politically.
anyone know if the green party's picked a candidate yet?

others and they have a sound policy towards every issue I've

 | depends what state you live in. do something that young people seem to have a lot of trouble with and spend a few
minutes researching before voting. many states, mine
included (maryland), are historically democrat, making your
vote really only symbolic. if your state always goes one
party or the other, you can afford to vote for a 3rd party.
not only will you feel better for voting with your
conscience, the green party still needs a 5% or more pull in
votes to qualify for federal funding (ie: get money from the
government like the GOP and democrats). nader would've
brought them that in 2000 but the democrats scared away the
votes he would've gotten (at one point he had an 8 or 9% in
 a summer poll).

 | I aslo heard that as soon as the G.P. hit the 5% mark they raised the procentage to get into the televised debates to
15% - to sort of block out the greens... Was that last
 election?

 | well the greens didn't get their 5% because of gore's anti-green propogandha spreading.. i don't know if there's a
way to automatically appear on televised debates, i think
that's up to the tv networks and organizers, who obviously
don't want someone telling the truth to hundreds of millions
 of people
