Man this is probably one of my favorite UNDERWORLD
tracks...I git this on cd finally but I remember hearing it
back in EARLY 98 and it blew me away...Just the length and
how hynotic it was....I always loved UNDERWORLD
afterthat....probably NEVER AS MUCH as than...but I do have
a place in my musical heart for em....=)

Just thought I would share my thoughts on this one...anyone

It's funny how that happends....

Until i got Aphex-mania I always listened to Slipknot, Korn,
Deftones and stuff...Now I only listen to the tracks that
still gives me tha *ompf*-feeling

I know exactly what you mean man...I wish my knowledge in
OTHER AREAS...(lol) would've expanded as much as my love and
taste in music over the last couple of years.....I would be
a "FRIKIN" genius,.=)

I used to turn on loads of middle-aged musician friend with
a couple of pills & that dubnobass album...kinda stopped em
in their tracks and got em to quit moaning about
"techno"....

ahh, my days as an E angel...;)..wonder if I'll get into
drug heaven for all my sterling work...

a classic album...great band & very smooth tomato designs
all over their work...

yeah...underworld are great...havent really listened to them
much in a while...but like ironlung, they still have a place
in my musical heart...and ill definitely be buying their
album in september...and going to their live shows if they
ever come remotely near me (are they going on tour for their
new one any time soon?)

i havent really listened to thing in book enough to give it
a proper judgement as i bought that cd just before i started
getting into squarepusher (if you know what i mean...)

i was wondering though...what version of dark and long does
the track 'most 'ospitable' come on?

its funny when people bump up really old threads...and you
read through them as if they were new, and then see a post
from yourself and realise that its an old thread..

i actually just decided to throw on the track 'please help
me' because i was thinking about it this morning...how
gorgeous it is..and how i havent listened to it in a long
time... i think i might listen to banstyle/sappys curry
next...
