Why is it that these Warp artists are NEVER mentioned on
this board?
aphex, squarepusher, autechre, boards of canda, plaid,
richard devine, chris clark, anti-pop consortium, lfo are
constantly being mentioned.

Is it because they don't have a new(ish) record out or
what?

And where's Nightmares On Wax's new album???

i just listened to them last night actually...

theres a new NoW album?
or do you mean his newest?
...in that case...his last full length was 'carboot soul'
though after that he had an ep called 'the sounds of NoW'
with de la soul
and a dj kicks mix album

Tiny Reminders is really good. I'd grab that if I were you.
More people need to open-up(leftfield song, haha)and give
TLS a more in-depth listen.

I didn't think Tiny Reminders was that great.
Their first album has some ace tracks on it but a lot of
filler.
Their best albums/eps are Stay Down and A Bag Of Blue
Sparks. A good friend of mine has them both on LP and
they're fucking amazing.

and the one AFTER that is by
Tiga (from International Deejay Gigolos Records)

i have 'a virus with shoues' and just ordered 'stay down'
from warp.

i have a bunch of mp3's at home, but i need the cd's.

i had borrowed 'stay down' from a friend a while back and
loved it. might try 'a bag of blue sparks' next.

thorpe
