If you turn up the volume on your headphones and listen VEERRRYYYY carefully, at the start of "To Cure A Wakling Child", in the background, you can heard the drums.... except these usually come in about 16 bars later! Methinks this is seepage from Richard's mic, but then I thought "hold on, he said he cut the vox up on the computer afterwards!?" which leads me to this either, a) he's lying or b) the entire song is played within itself, all through the song, it's just it's so quiet you cant hear it. This would explain his "tracks inside other tracks" theory.

I reckon it's just seepage from a mixer channel....that's the simplest explanation...
Probably thought it was muted and it was just the vol control turned down...or maybe he used a shitty mixer...
he's def not adverse to creating stuff that's really human; he's kinda slapdash in a way that, say AE, aren't... so I guess he doesn't concern himself too much with little mistakes like that....if the mix works then that's it...

I'm definitely going to check this, I'm going to listen to tcawc in every possible way
IF he did this on purpose,he must have done this in other songs too.
...but DID he do this on purpose?

Not sure, but the same thing happens on Girl/Boy Song... listen to the Milkman style ham radio/"i just ran my voice through the same voice sample but reversed it and modulated the two" sound at the start... just after the cello bits before the song starts and they cut away for a couple of bars, you can hear backgorund chatter.
