This guy is a fuckin' legend. I went to the Magic bus Tour
in Glasgow last night and he came down among all the fans
after the gig. He signed posters (even put a wee satanic
message on 'em too!!), signed tickets and thanked everyone
for coming out. What a guy. I know I'll get a lot of stick
for this, but AFX could learn a lot from that guy. I'm not
saying he should come and sign autographs, but he should
acknowledge the people who appreciate him more than he does
(which is zero).
That said, I dont think there is a better music maker in the
world, so he gets my ultimate respect in that way!

I've never seen Richard Devine but I agree 100%, RDJ should
connect with his fans in some small way. His aloofness is
part of the persona I guess though.

yeah, people say "why should he give a fuck about his fans?"
but they're what allows him to not get a job besides making
music. he could just say "hey, thanks for coming" every so
often.

the more an artist is inspired by other artists the more
vocal they are usually

I remember when Autechre was answering those questions on
the Warp site, someone asked what they thought of Richard
Devine and they said he was a nice guy. I'd like to see him.
