 | I've just read in the NME, the paper one not the web one, that some of the tracks on Drukqs are "confrontational" and
have "amazingly imaginative" production, and some are
minimal nu-classical piano pieces that "sound like Erik
 Satie". So there you go.

Also, while I'm giving out crap information, if you live in
the evil hell-hole that is London like I do, if you go to
Selectadisc on Berwick St they have some free magazines on
the counter called Alternative Japanese Music that have a
free CD with them, with 10 tracks of crazy Japanese musical
madness. I don't what it sounds like, but its free, and if
all else fails it might have some good samples on it....

They also have Kamakazi Dub by Prince Jammy reissued for
£5.99, I know this bcuz I just bought it.

I'm sure all that info has improved your lives tenfold.

 | Mr Teeth: I hope you're after the free CD I was on about, not the Prince Jammy thing, bcuz that was on vinyl. I dunno
if they had it on CD. But I think you meant the Japanese
thing. Or maybe something else completely. I dunno.
 Aaaaaanyway...........

 | I do live in Newcastle.
I will be visiting the city soon as my friend lives there.

I think I might get my arse down for that event in August at
 the victoria and albert thing.

My friends are coming down next friday to see some people
 called "Venitian Snares"

I don't buy much vinyl for a number of reasons :

 1. I have two shitty record decks

 2. I find them to be too fragile

 3. I am scared of plastic

 4. I am scared of black

 5. I am scared of circles

 | Venetian Snares??!! Fuck me, they had an album out with Jansky Speedranch on Planet U about 4 months ago, it was the
noisiest thing you ever heard in your life... No tunes, no
humanity, just total Noizze worship. It was kind of cool if
you were in the mood, kind of evil of satanic if you
weren't... If you're going with your mates Teeth I'd take
 some earplugs.

Does anyone know Replay Records? They have 2 stores in
Bristol and one in Bath. I used to be assistant manager at
the Bath one, til about 3 months ago. They are ace shops
(no, really), and if you are into Jungle the Bath shop is
one of the best in Britain...
