My fucking boss has decided that a laptop isn't "appropriate" for my work.... He really doesn't realise exactly how much extra shit he got out of me for that little benefit.... Still...plnty more jobs out there...and I'm sick of being a creative person working with accountants.... I'd wish a slow death on him but I guess he's already living it.... |

undecided... Found a good job yesterday that'll suit me down to the ground....so that's the aim at the moment.... Before I go, of course, I'll ensure that one or 2 or 58,000 very obscure params are set in some very tech software they rely on.... As Joni M. said... "You don't know what you got til it's gone...".... I'm not an evil guy but when lines are crossed in this way, then it would be spineless to sit back and take it.... |

i know the feeling jand, it is not justifiable for me to have a laptop even though i dont get any time for training and personnal developement, i work as a designer and i am only allowed to work at my workstation at work. If i have a tight deadline i have to be here, if i had a laptop the work i could get done at home would be unbelievable. fuck em. |

go for it man.... ...i left a steady IT job and am now doing a web-design course with more time to create music. I'm as poor as can be but always manage to get to the good gigs and by records. What more do ya want? ........nice one jand |

They don't know their arse from their elbow and I'm a clever fucker so whatever revenge (an ugly word but deserved) will be as subtle but disabling as possible.... Time to dig out some of me old tech underground mates....they owe me a few favours.... That which doesn't kill us, makes us stronger (and those who attempt the kill are gonna find out exactly how strong...)...I believe it was a tiny flea that wiped out Europe during the Plague; an image I like to keep in mind....
